These images are from the depths of the sketchbook and portfolio archive, for some costumes that were created for shows, projects and concept sketches for meetings. They range in style, but always I feel comfortable with lines and color, rather than form or function. The function comes later when the costume itself becomes a pattern and more of a reality. At that point, the clothes need to become real. Sometimes real clothes are used to add into the fantasy. That is even more interesting sometimes.
